It's been very busy last 24 hours in the state of Arizona as the results of a referendum on an arena/entertainment district plan were revealed and they didn't go in the favour of the Coyotes.

While it was confirmed on Wednesday afternoon by NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly that the Arizona Coyotes will remain at Mullett Arena for the 2023-24 season, beyond that it's unclear where the organization will be playing.

According to Andy Strickland, Salt Lake City (Utah) is reportedly the focus for the Arizona Coyotes, but everything is still in the early stages.

"Hearing Salt Lake City appears to be the focus for the Arizona Coyotes internally among hockey ops. Obviously still in "early" stages. #Yotes" Strickland said in a tweet.

If they do end up moving to Salt Lake City following the 2023-24 season, they will likely play out of the 20,000-seat Vivint Arena, which has hosted several NHL pre-season games and another will be played there in October between the Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks.
