The story of Paul Bissonnette and his fight at a Scottsdale bar went viral, even beyond the NHL world, and given his spot on NHL on TNT, it was only a matter of time until it was brought up.
Unsurprisingly, it didn't take long at all, as it was Bruins captain Brad Marchand that took a hilarious shot at the former NHLer during a pre-game interview just days after the incident occurred.
It was a great moment for all those involved, and last night, the NHL on TNT crew got theirs back, as they put together a hilarious skit that involved the crew suspended Marchand from being in the running for Mr. NHL on TNT in 2024/25.
The highlight of the skit was an impersonation from Bissonnette of George Parros, who comes under immense criticism from the fans and the players, and in this case, it was hilarious all around from Biz and the crew.
However, that wasn't the end of it, as Marchand came back for more, calling Biz out for ridding his Spittin' Chiclets co-hosts coat tails for all these years, just moments after Bissonnette called him out once more for struggling to contribute much to the Bruins success.
On top of all this, even the Boston Bruins social media admins got involved, making this one of the most fun and hilarious rivalries in the sport right now.
While other hockey coverage in North America can be insightful, there's simply nothing that compares to the incredible interactions between players and the hosts on NHL on TNT, and while it's not for everyone, it's safe to say that Bissonnette and Marchand are making magic together.
