Microphone malfunction leads to one of the coolest moments of the season
Tonight the Toronto Maple Leafs played host to the Buffalo Sabres for a Monday night game. Before the puck even dropped fans were treated to an incredible moment.
As the games anthem singer began to sing the microphone malfunctioned. This caused a disruption in the opening anthems but Toronto fans wasted no time and took over. The Canadian crowd proudly sung the American anthem as the microphone issues were fixed.
For a franchise like Toronto that receives a lot of criticism this is an incredibly classy and respectful moment by their fan base. You love to see it.
