Philipp Kurashev lands multi-year deal with Chicago Blackhawks after arbitration hearing
The results of the arbitration hearing between the Chicago Blackhawks and Philipp Kurashev is now known.
According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, an independent arbitrator has awarded Kurashev a two-year contract worth $4.5 million ($2.25 million AAV).
Going into the arbitration hearing last week, the Blackhawks filed at one-year worth $1.4 million, while Kurashev and his camp went in at two-years worth $2.65 million.
The 23-year-old Swiss forward is coming off the best season of his NHL career thus far. In 70 games, Munsingen native had 25 points (nine goals, 16 assists), 14 penalty minutes and was a minus-32.
