Colorado Avalanche announce major update on Gabriel Landeskog and that he will miss all of next year
Winning the Stanley Cup comes at a steep cost for many. But accomplishing your dream is something that no on can take away from you. That's exactly what Gabriel Landeskog will have to hold onto.
After missing all of this season with a knee injury, many expected Landeskog to be back next season. However that will definitely not be the case as today the Avalanche made an announcement that Landeskog will undergo another surgery and will not play next season.
Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog will undergo a cartilage transplant in his right knee on May 10.�The surgery will be performed by Dr. Brian Cole at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.�The 30-year-old forward is expected to miss the entire 2023-24 season.
This announcement could have major implications on the Avalanche, especially if Landeskog is unable to return from this injury. Our thoughts for our to Landeskog during his recovery.
