Paul Bissonnette makes prediction that would rock the hockey world
When the Pittsburgh Penguins cleaned out their front office at the end of this season, firing Hockey Operations President Brian Burke and GM Ron Hextall, people had to know further changes are coming. One person believes one of those changes will shake up the NHL as we know it.
According to former NHLer turned analyst Paul Bissonnette, Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby will end up in Colorado.
It wouldn't be an easy thing for the Avs to pull off, but if they did, look out! Colorado already has plenty of fire power. Adding Crosby, who just put up a 93 point season at the age of 36, would put the team over the top completely. Will it happen? Who knows, but if the plan is for Pittsburgh to continue to build around the core of Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Kris Letang to try to compete now, they may as well have kept Burke and Hextall where they were. Something certainly needs to give, and soon.
