Jacob Markstrom explodes after loss, demands goalie interference penalty for absolutely no reason
Things have not been going well for the Calgary Flames this season, plain and simple. It looks like after they way one player acted getting off the ice last night, things are no closer to getting better.
The Flames and the Dallas stars played a close game yesterday, however, Calgary did end up losing in overtime. Jacob Markstrom, loses control and demands a penalty on the game winner, but it seems nothing really happened, take a look:
Markstrom is arguing that he was interfered with on the game winning goal, but if you look closely, the Stars player in front actually makes no contact at all.
I know it must be frustrating to be a player for the Flames this year, however, that's just some back acting on the goaltenders part.
If he's not careful, Markstrom could be headed to the NHL's diving school. I don't always agree with the officiating, but this was a good non call by the refs.
