Red Wings confirm when Patrick Kane will make his debut
Patrick Kane's long awaited season debut has officially been revealed by the Detroit Red Wings.
On Wednesday, Red Wings Head Coach Derek Lalonde announced that Patrick Kane will be in the lineup on Thursday night against the San Jose Sharks.

Kane, 35, signed a one-year deal with the Detroit Red Wings worth $2.75 million after mulling over offers from several other teams, rejoining with a former teammate - Alex DeBrincat. The Buffalo native underwent hip resurfacing surgery in the off-season after dealing with hip issues for over a year at that point.
Last season, Kane appeared in 73 games with the Chicago Blackhawks and New York Rangers, putting up 57 points (21 goals, 36 assists).
