Detroit Red Wings share the loss of a staff member

The Detroit Red Wings shared the loss of a staff member that was an integral part of their Stanley Cup winning team in 1997.
The Detroit Red Wings were a dynasty in the late 90's and early 2000's never missing the playoffs and always managing to go on runs when they weren't expected to.
According to the Red Wings themselves on their X account, Sergei Mnatsakanov who was a member of the 1997 Cup winning team as a masseur
The 1997 Red Wings team was the first Cup winning team they had in 42 years. Sergei Mnatsakanov was also involved in the accident that injured defender Vladimir Konstantinov.
Mnatsakanov was a mainstay with the Red Wings for a from 1993-1997 helping members of the team as a masseur.
There has been an outpouring support from former colleagues and teammates.
Mnatsakanov was 71 years and passed away at his home in Florida after a battle with cancer.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mnatsakanov family, his friends and anybody that may have crossed paths with this beloved member of the Detroit Wings family. This time is never easy, but we hope they find peace.
