It's been a rough couple of weeks for the Detroit Red Wings, who are in the midst of a six-game losing streak after dropping Tuesday's contest against the Buffalo Sabres by a score of 7-3.

The Red Wings were back at practice on Wednesday and the team's frustration boiled over during one of the drills as defenceman Ben Chiarot and forward Lucas Raymond got into a scuffle. The scuffle didn't last too long, with other Red Wings players getting in between the two to break things up and the team got right back to the drill they were working on almost immediately afterwards.

"Frustration at Red Wings practice. Ben Chiarot and Lucas Raymond got into at practice and had to be broken up." Jeanna Trotman said in a post on X.

Scuffles and fights between teammates isn't uncommon and happens at least once or twice a season while a team is in the middle of a big slump.

In this case with Raymond and Chiarot, both of whom like to play on the edge, they're passionate, care about this team and want things to turn around quickly and for this losing streak to come to an end.

The Red Wings will have an opportunity to break their losing skid on Thursday night as they host the Arizona Coyotes. With a win, they could hop back into the second Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.
