Edmonton Oilers sign veteran forward to incredible contract
The Edmonton Oilers are an extremely desirable team to play for. With both Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl already under contract the Oilers are a perennial Stanley Cup contender. That ability to contend for a Cup is usual enough to entice veteran players to take a discount to play in the market.
That's exactly what happened today as veteran forward Derek Ryan signed a 2-year contract extension with the club.
