Leon Draisaitl of the Edmonton Oilers seems to have little patience with reporters when things are going well. With a really flat start for his team, Draisaitl has pretty much had it, and it shows.
The Oilers took a 3-2 overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets last night. Edmonton was leading 2-1 late in the second when goaltender Stewart Skinner made a mistake that led to the goal that eventually pushed the game in OT.
Following the game, a reporter decided to ask Draisaitl what he said to Skinner after the incident. Draisaitl couldn't believe it, and made it obvious he was annoyed.
"What do you want me to say to him? He made a mistake. Like, big deal. Nothing to say to him. We all make mistakes."
This isn't the first time Draisaitl has lashed out at a reporter for a question he didn't like. It's hard to blame him here. Meanwhile, the Oilers are left to try and figure out how to turn around an early season slump.
