Draisaitl, Kane appear to get into a heated argument on the Oiler bench
The Edmonton Oilers came into their matchup with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Hockey Night in Canada on a two-game winning streak, but things quickly fell apart.
After the first period, the Oilers were down 2-0 and then in the second period, the game spiraled even further as they allowed three more goals to make it 5-0 Toronto after 40 minutes.
During the second period, Sportsnet's cameras caught Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl and Evander Kane getting into a heated discussion amid the teams struggles during the game.
It's unclear what specifically the discussion was about, but it's clear both Draisaitl and Kane were frustrated with how the game was going, with the German forward being very animated while speaking with his teammate.
Heated discussions between teammates isn't too uncommon and it just shows that Leon Draisaitl and Evander Kane are both passionate and wanting to win, but it just wasn't their night against the Toronto Maple Leafs
