Fans react to Florida Panthers anthem singer being hilariously bad
The National Hockey League has had some very unique moments of the National Anthem being played throughout its history, some really well done and others have been outright atrocious; however, today's anthem before the Tampa Bay Lightnings visit to Sunrise and the Amerant Bank Arena to visit the Florida Panthers may take the cake.
To be honest with you, it takes an awful lot of courage to be able to get up in front of thousands of people and many more watching on television to sing anything, and nothing against the anthem singer, but it wasn't performed well and people noticed.
Being compared to when Roseanne Barr sang an anthem ahead of a sporting event can't possibly be good for anyone's psyche, but did the people with the Panthers not think to vet any individual who was tasked with such an important responsibility?
However, maybe people have the right idea, and the Panthers should lose strictly due to a poor performance that won't even dictate the outcome of the game.
And before you ask what the problem was if you missed it live, this is the debacle in question, and maybe, just maybe, it's time that the team takes a look at who should be singing before their next home game, because this performance was outright atrocious.
