Panthers Bennett blasts Bruins Pastrnak with thunderous hit
The second round series between the Boston Bruins and the Florida Panthers has been anything but tame and with that in mind it's been important for each team to find a way to set the tone early and prove they're the dominant team.
Friday night moments after puck drop David Pastrnak came through the neutral zone without any issues however once he crossed the Panthers blue line with his head down he was blasted by Sam Bennett with a thunderous hit.
Although the series is still in its infancy it would make sense that the team who is the most physical will likely win. When you get to this point in the playoffs after a long regular season it's a case of who can outlast the grind.
It'll be interesting to see if either team can continue with the physicality, and has any gas left in the tank if they get through to the next round.
