Carey Price's Montreal home sells for less than asking price
While he's still under contract for another two seasons, a big chapter in Carey Price's life in Montreal has come to an end as his house has finally sold.
After being officially put up for sale in May 2023, ten months ago, Carey Price's south shore home in Montreal has sold for $1.5 million, which is $300,000 less than the asking price. The home, which was built back in 2008, has five bedrooms and four bathrooms.
It features 12 rooms on more than 9,000 square feet of land and also has a finished basement, along with an in-ground heated saltwater pool. The photos below are from the listing website - Centris.
Price, 36, hasn't played since April of 2022 due to a knee injury that has likely ended his career, although he hasn't officially announced his retirement as of yet. Price admitted last fall that he won't return to the National Hockey League barring a miracle.
The future Hall-of-Famer is the winningest goaltender in Montreal Canadiens and in his 15 seasons in the National Hockey League, he had a record of 361-261-79, along with a 2.51 goals against average, a .917 save percentage and 49 shutouts.
