Brennan Othmann spears Logan Mailloux in a very sensitive spot
Tonight the London Knights faced off against Peterborough Petes in Game 6 of the Ontario Hockey League Championship. With the Petes leading the series 3-2, tonight's game was pivotal for both teams.
In the 2nd period New York Rangers prospect Brennan Othmann decided to take an extra shot at Montreal Canadiens prospect Logan Mailloux. As Mailloux turned the puck up ice, Othmann saw an opportunity to perform a cup check on Mailloux.
On the play Othmann was given 2 minutes for slashing. The Petes were able to kill off Othmann's penalty and went onto win the game 2-1, securing their spot in the Memorial Cup.
