Claude Giroux blows up on officials after terrible call
Claude Giroux is usually one of the most respectful players in the NHL. He is known for keeping his temper in check and having a great rapport with officials. That's why when he does lose his temper people take notes.
Tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes Giroux lost his temper and let the officials know exactly what he thought of their call. With Giroux already in the box Jake Sanderson was called for delay of game. The only problem with the penalty is the puck was knocked out by a Carolina Hurricanes player.
The Senators were luckily able to kill off the penalty, but it's clear Giroux was not a fan of the call.
