There's still plenty of time for him to develop, and it appears his team wants to make sure it's done properly.

The St. Louis Blues have announced that 10th overall pick in 2023, Dalibor Dvorsky, has terminated his contract with Oskarshamn IK of the Swedish Hockey League. He's being sent to the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League to further his development.

"After evaluating Dalibor's situation in Sweden and talking with him and his representatives, we jointly decided that the opportunity to play regular minutes at Sudbury against his peer group in the OHL would be the best thing for his development at this time. We look forward to watching his continued growth as a player." - Blues GM Doug Armstrong

Dvorsky, an 18-year-old center, had been getting limited ice time with Oskarshamn. He's failed to hit the scoresheet in 10 games, and is a minus-6. It seems the Blues aren't satisfied with how things have been going and have decided to make a change.

According to Elite Prospects, Dvorsky is capable of dangling defenders, finding teammates in high pressure situations, and a very good skater. Sudbury will have to make changed to get Dvorsky in the lineup as the team already has the maximum of two import players.
