London Knights Star and St Louis Blues Prospect Suspended Once More For His Behaviour

Landon Sim has been suspended by the OHL in the past for his questionable behaviour, and now he finds himself in trouble once again.

This year hasn't been the perfect one for St. Louis Blues prospect Landon Sim, as the 20-year old has already been suspended early in 2024 for calling an opponent a p--sy on the ice, which landed him in hot water with a five-game suspension.

Sure, at the NHL level that's not an issue, as players often chirp each other to grow frustration or anger in their opponents, but even so, this one was a highly criticized move.

Now, Sim finds himself in hot water once again, as he has been suspended indefinitely for what has been termed as 'conduct detrimental to the league', as announced by the OHL on social media.

The incident that forced this move came on November 8th in a game against Sault St. Marie, with the team drawing a penalty for clearing out their crease that included a cross check to the face.

However, after the play, an official could be seen skating to the bench to officially kick Sim out of the game, with very little explanation as to what exactly happened to follow that.

Given how over the top some of the officiating has proven to be in the junior ranks in Canada, there's the potential for this to simply be Sim expressing frustration at the officials, and given his history, that's a real possibility.

However, this is now two suspensions for Sim for his behaviour on the ice, and while he's producing on the ice (5 goals and 3 assists in 10 games), it's hard to ignore not one but two suspensions.

We are yet to see an official response from Sim or the London Knights for this latest move from the OHL, but given how frustrated both parties were with what many believed to be an excessive penalty the first time around, it's safe to say that they won't be happy this time either.
