St. Louis Blues tender offer sheets to pair of Edmonton Oilers
The St. Louis Blues have tendered offer sheets to pair of Edmonton Oilers.
Offer sheets around the NHL are extremely rare these days, but on Tuesday, the St. Louis Blues just submitted them to a pair of RFAs on the Edmonton Oilers.
According to Frank Seravalli, the St. Louis Blues have tendered offer sheets to Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway of the Edmonton Oilers. The Edmonton Oilers now have seven days to match the offers sent or else both players become members of the St. Louis Blues.
In order to make the offer sheets, the Blues completed a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins to re-acquire their own second round pick in 2025, which is needed as potential compensation if Edmonton decides not to match.
The contracts are as follows:
Dylan Holloway, 2 years at $2,290,457 cap hit.
Philip Broberg, 2 years at $4,580,917 cap hit.
The Oilers will have 7 days to match this contract.
