Insider reveals Ryan Reaves contract, it's longer and for more money than you'd think
The Toronto Maple Leafs have added some muscle to a multi-year contract. TSN's Darren Dreger reports a three-year deal for Ryan Reaves, coming in at an average annual value of around $1.3 million.
Reaves is 37. The contract will end when he is 40.
Reaves spent last season with the Minnesota Wild, and has suited up for the New York Rangers, Vegas Golden Knights, Pittsburgh Penguins, and St, Louis Blues throughout his career. This is an attempt by Toronto GM Brad Treliving to make the team tougher and harder to play again.
This deal won't be official until 12 PM ET, but it sounds like these are the particulars.
