Toronto Maple Leafs fan accused of disrespecting military member at Nashville Predators game
Sunday night the Toronto Maple Leafs made the trip to Nashville to face off against the Nashville Predators. The Maple Leafs defeated the Predators 3-2, but it was an act that was caught on the in arena camera that left fans with a bad taste in their mouths.
As has become a regular tradition for the Predators, during a stoppage in play the Preds tried to honour a Military member in attendance. Unfortunately one Maple Leafs' fan either didn't get the memo, or even worse, didn't care.
According to those in attendance the Maple Leafs fan tried to remove the man's Predators hat and replace it with a Maple Leafs hat. Which was perceived as incredibly disrespectful.
It's clear that this fan certainly crossed the line. Luckily the military man showed class and didn't respond to the disrespectful act.
