The narratives surrounding Mitch Marner in the Toronto Maple Leafs this off-season has been won a frustration contempt, and the overwhelming urge to say the Maple Leafs need to move on from him. This was compounded when new head coach Craig Berube was hired, But what does Mitch Marner actually think of the new leaves bench boss?
According to Leafs Latest, Marner opens up about his first impressions of Craig Berube upon meeting him, and whether or not he thinks the the two of them can work together.

We entions the coffee shop meet up In May and sings the praises of Berube himself. In fact, Marner mentioned that he's been in contact with the new Leaf head coach all summer long and that he's excited to play underneath him.
Either Marner is downplaying the fact that there might be friction in the room before Berube starts or and personally what I think is the more likely story is that the media and fans alike are trying to force him out of town when in fact, he may very well be for a very long time.
We'll see what happens, but for the time being it appears that that Marner has squashed any locker room friction between him and Craig Berube
