Prices skyrocket for Toronto Maple Leafs playoffs tickets
If you're looking to catch a Toronto Maple Leafs 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs game, get ready to spend a load of cash. Prices at Scotiabank Arena have skyrocketed.
The Toronto Maple Leafs still have five games to go in the 2023-24 regular season, but playoff tickets are already starting to sell, with bloated prices. Tickets for the front of the house are already going for over $2000 each, and prices will likely only get higher as the number available gets lower.
If you're willing to compromise for a cheaper ticket, you can get one in the 300s section for around double what they sell for in the regular season.
Not only will prices go up as fewer seats are available, they'll rise even more if the Toronto Maple Leafs can make it to further rounds. While it shows just how popular hockey is in the city, it shuts out many from ever being able to afford to see a playoff game.
Toronto has already clinched its spot in the 2024 post season. As it currently stands, the team will likely face the Florida Panthers in the first round, the team that eliminated them from the second round in 2023. The Eastern Conference has a real traffic jam for its last wild card spot, and it's making for a very interesting run down the stretch.
