Saturday night. An original six battle. It's doesn't get much bigger of a spotlight than that.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are set to take on the New York Rangers tonight at Scotiabank Arena and there's a potential for a heavyweight tilt.

New York Rangers forward Matt Rempe has taken the league by storm over the last few weeks since making his debut. In the first five games of his NHL career, Rempe dropped the mitts three times and on Friday, Maple Leafs forward Ryan Reaves was asked about the Rangers forward and if a fight would he in the cards on Saturday night.

"It's been a hot start for him. A good start ... good on him. He's got some attention & we'll see how long it lasts"

Chances of a showdown tomorrow?

"I don't have the game script, but you never know" Reaves said on Friday according to TSN's Mark Masters.

If Reaves decides to drop the mitts with Rempe tonight, it'll be his second fight in as many games after his tilt with Liam O'Brien during Toronto's win over Arizona on Thursday night.

We'll have to wait and see if the pair decide to drop the mitts, but if they do, it's certainly going to be a must-see moment for hockey fans everywhere.
