Another former top prospect lands on waivers on Monday
The Vancouver Canucks have returned home from their three-game road trip and General Manager Patrik Allvin has used the opportunity to place a player on the waiver wire.
According to TSN's Chris Johnston, the Vancouver Canucks have placed former second round pick Jack Studnicka on waivers for the purpose of assigning him to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Abbotsford Canucks.
"Placed on NHL waivers today: Jack Studnicka (VAN)." Johnston said in a post on X.
Studnicka, 24, was traded to Vancouver from the Boston Bruins in October 2022 and has appeared in five games this season with the Canucks, putting up one goal, no penalty minutes and is a plus-two.
