J.T. Miller of the Vancouver Canucks tried to calm nerves at practice ahead of game 6 against the Nashville Predators by pulling a prank on goalie Artur Silov

The Vancouver Canucks have an opportunity to clinch a playoff series for the first time since the 2019-20 season in the next game of their first-round series against the Nashville Predators. The Canucks have a 3-2 lead going into game 6, and it's a safe bet that players are nervous, especially when it comes to goaltender Arturs Silovs.

Silovs will be playing in just the third NHL playoffs game of his career, and the 23-year-old is likely feeling the pressure after having to step in for both Thatcher Demko and Casey DeSmith, who are injured. Vancouver veteran J.T. Miller tried to take his mind off it by wearing Silovs expensive dress shirt on the ice as a practice jersey.

"So JT Miller took to the ice wearing Artur Silov's dress shirt. It's a peach/salmon paisley type of thing. Silovs was a little surprised to see it being used as a practice jersey. #canucks"

Miller has played in more than 80 Stanley Cup Playoffs games in his career, and he clearly knows how much of a rollercoaster ride it can be, especially when you have so little experience.

"Not sure what JT Miller is wearing before practice in Nashville, but don't think it matters. Trying to ease tension."

Vancouver has a chance to eliminate the Nashville Predators on the road Friday night, unless the Preds can force a game 7 back in BC. If you take out the 2019-20 season, the Canucks have not made it to the second round of the playoffs since 2012-13 when they lost in the Conference Final to the San Jose Sharks.
