The past few weeks in Vancouver have been non-stop drama, and after star forward J.T. Miller was called out by his Head Coach, it appears the team are on the cusp of a potentially franchise-altering trade.
Speculation has been running rampant on both Miller and teammate Elias Pettersson, but according to top insider Nick Kypreos, it may be another All-Star teammate that's moved in 2024/25.
With Boeser set to be a free agent in the summer, it leaves Vancouver with a major dilemma, as he has been very solid for the team over the past few years, tallying a career high 40 goals a season ago, but with injuries mounting up, perhaps getting an asset in return now is the best possible play.
On top of that, Boeser recorded a season low ice-time during Thursday's loss to the Los Angeles Kings, and with the team clearly needing a culture shift given the off-ice drama and poor body language seen during this game, anyone but Quinn Hughes could be in play.
Ultimately, the Canucks need to decide whether or not 27-year old Brock Boeser is a huge part of their future or not, and if they decide a long-term deal isn't going to be worth it, don't be shocked to see both he and Miller/Pettersson on the way out as Vancouver look to retool for a Stanley Cup run.
