Golden Knights claim former first-rounder off waivers from Kings
The Vegas Golden Knights have claimed former first-round pick Tobias Bjornfot off waivers from the Kings.
For the second day in a row, a defenceman has been claimed off the waiver wire.
According to TSN's Chris Johnston, the Vegas Golden Knights have claimed 22-year-old Tobias Bjornfot off waivers from the Los Angeles Kings.
"Vegas claims Tobias Björnfot off waivers from Los Angeles." Johnston said.
Bjornfot, a former first-round pick of the Kings, has skated in one game at the NHL level this season, where has no points. He's also appeared in nine AHL games for the Ontario Reign, where he didn't record any points and has two penalty minutes.
