They've only been in the league since 2017, but defending Stanley Cup Champions the Vegas Golden Knights seem to do everything bigger and with more style.
It was opening night last night in the NHL, with the Golden Knights set to take on the league's newest expansion team, the Seattle Kraken. Before the game got underway, Vegas got the chance to lift its 2023 Stanley Cup banner to the rafters, and pulled out all the stops like the team usually does.
Both Vegas's Coach and the team's captain loved it.
"The slot machine was freaking cool." - Golden Knights head coach Bruce Cassidy.
"I had a feeling the three Cups were coming. It's Vegas. It's the theme. I loved it." - Jack Eichel Vegas celebrated by downing the Kraken 4-1.
