Vegas Golden Knights sign Adin Hill to multi-year contract
The Vegas Golden Knights announced on Friday that they've agreed to terms on a two-year contract worth $9.8 million ($4.9 million AAV) with Stanley Cup-winning goaltender Adin Hill.
The Comox, British Columbia native was traded to the Golden Knights last August from San Jose in exchange for a 2024 fourth-round pick. He went on to take over the reigns in net from Laurent Brossoit during their second round series against the Edmonton Oilers who suffered an injury during Game 3.
In 27 games during the regular season, Hill sported a record of 16-7-1 along with a 2.45 goals against average and a .915 save percentage. He went 11-4 with a pair of shutouts during the playoffs, helping Vegas win their first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
