NHL trying to appeal to kids with unique cartoon streaming experience
The NHL has tried many different things to grow the game, but this might be the most unique. Tonight the NHL partnered with both Disney+ and ESPN+ to try and attract younger viewers to the game.
In the past the NFL has partnered with Nickelodeon to stream their games to younger audiences. Now the NHL is doing something similar and it is quite unique and entertaining. Tonight the NHL is streaming the Washington Capitals versus the New York Rangers live via streaming services.
The broadcast is motion tracked and live simulcasted for younger fans. Take a look.
While this isn't for the older fan it's a cool way to help attract a younger demographic.
Update: Nevermind it's awful.
