The Boston Bruins are coming off of the best regular season in National Hockey League history. There's no doubt, the Bruins know how to build a winner on the ice, but it appears they're really lacking in this area.
According to Daily Faceoff, the Bruins are horrible at drafting and this one stat more than proves it, take a look; this is actually embarrassing.
the Bruins need to develop more players that they have drafted.
Since 2018, the Boston Bruins have selected 27 players in the NHL draft. Only one of which has seen any playing time in the NHL. That one player is Jakub Lauko.
For a team they has seen so much success on the ice, this is almost not believable. One would think that after 5 years of pitiful drafting, something big would've had to change. It hasn't and this is the result, not having any of your draft picks recently make the NHL.
