Arber Xhekaj bites off more than he can chew, gets dropped by Tanner Jeannot
Arber Xhekaj has developed quite the reputation as one of the league's top heavyweights. Xhekaj has built an impressive resume, but the sophomore still has a lot to prove. Tonight, Xhekaj tried to build upon his resume, but he was unsuccessful.
After Tanner Jeannot delivered a big hit on the former first overall pick Juraj Slafkovsky, Xhekaj took it upon himself to respond. After Xhekaj chased down Jeannot he got the fight he wanted, but it didn't end how he'd have liked.
On the play both players received 5 minutes majors for fighting. Unfortunately Xhekaj wasn't able to spark his team as the Habs still trail 4-0 after two periods.
