You have to love the show of respect before this one. On Sunday, goaltenders for the Austin Ice Bats and Texas Brahmas of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) decided they were going to have an old-fashioned goalie tilt. The two made sure to show some sportsmanship before it started.
As the two goalies got in position, they shook hands first, and then the fists started flying. This was a very intense bout that ends with the netminder in white falling to the ice after taking a hard shot right to the face.
Both appeared to be ok and made sure to tell each other "good one" before skating away. Love to see stuff like this in hockey!
