Jordan Binnington finally crosses the line, Marc-Andre Fleury tries to fight him
Less than a week ago Marc-Andre Fleury was involved in an altercation that nearly led to him fighting James Reimer. Fleury was asked at the time about his willingness to drop the gloves and he shared not wanting to injure himself in the process.
Last night that fear of injury flew out the window as Jordan Binnington was up to his old tricks again. After Ryan Hartman scored a goal, he tapped Binnington setting off the fireworks. After Binnington went after Hartman, Fleury had seen enough and came charging down the ice to finally shut Binnington up.
Unfortunately for everyone the linesman got hold of Binnington and wouldn't let go. Fleury was clearly ready to go after watching his teammate get dumped to the ice.
Both Fleury and Binnington were given minor penalties for leaving the crease. Binnington was also ejected for his hit on Hartman. The Blues would go onto lose the game 8-5.
