In this afternoon's game with the Philadelphia Flyers hosting the Anaheim Ducks, two rebuilding teams matched up in a largely irrelevant game. Still though, they made it interesting with a heavyweight weight.
Nicolas Deslauriers of the Flyers and Ross Johnston of the Ducks, both big bodies, sized each other up for a fight of attrition. Both players landed incredibly strong punches, and managed to hold down their opponent long enough for there to be no clear winner.
The fight ends with Johnston of the Ducks pinning Deslauriers against the boards repeatedly and still landing some uppercut punches, but it didn't stop Deslauriers from still landing some of his own.
Fighting in hockey always amps up the fans and players, especially when two known enforcers are squaring up.
