A brawl broke out at a beer league game recently after a completely unacceptable move by one of the players
Beer league hockey, the last place where you can just play for fun and no one takes things too seriously. Okay, maybe that's not exactly the truth. The clip below is a perfect example.
The X post featured a beer league game where one player shoved another hard while he's sitting on top of the boards in between whistles. The push sent him back-first into the bench as he was completely caught off guard. The overly aggressive move brought everyone into the fray, with players grabbing each other around the neck and swinging sticks until cooler heads prevailed.
While the majority of people in beer league hockey leagues are mostly friendly and chill, there's always one or two that have to cross the line and bring things into personal territory. Some people just can't help themselves.
This is what happens when you have beer league players who believe they're playing high level hockey. Hero's who have trouble getting up for their day jobs the next morning because they're sore. This is not why most people play recreational adult hockey.
