Carolina Hurricanes player cheap shots New York Rangers best player with dirty knee and gets away with it
There are few plays in hockey more dangerous than a knee-on-knee hit. This type of play often leads to serious injuries and can have last impact on a player's career. In the history of the league their are multiple players who have had their careers trajectory altered by a serious knee injury.
Tonight, New York Rangers defender was on the receiving end of a knee-on-knee hit from Sebastian Aho of the Carolina Hurricanes. The hit occurred in the first period of the game and sent Fox immediately to the dressing room.
Sebastian Aho sticks his leg out on Adam Fox. No call on the play. #NYR Fox immediately left the game and has not returned at this time. There was somehow no penalty called on the play.
