The New York Rangers are holding their breath as forward Filip Chytil went down with an injury in practice today, let's hope for his sake, it's not too serious
The New York Rangers were on the ice for practice this morning and everything seemed to be going well, until Rangers forward Filip Chytil went down near the end of practice.
Chytil has been out since November 2nd with an upper body injury and had just returned to practice. Hopefully this isn't too serious and he's able to continue skating with the team.
A very scary moment at the end of #NYR morning skate.
I didn't see how Chytil initially went down, but he was in pain on the ice for what felt like 5-7 minutes.
Zac Jones and Jake Leschyshyn along with some members of the training staff had to help him get off the ice. Chytil needed major assistance getting off the ice, with Zac Jones and Jake Leschyshyn helping the Rangers forward off the ice.
Hopefully it's not as serious as it sounds, but this doesn't sound like good news for the Rangers at all.
