This is something you never want to see as Washington Capitals defender Nic Jensen had to be strechered off the ice after a dirty hit by Tampa Bay Lighting forward Mikey Eyssimont. This is something you truly never want to see; take a look.
#ALLCAPS dirty fucking hit from number 23 on tampa. Nick Jensen is being stretchered out. Hope hes okay After the hit, the entire Capitals team went after Eyssimont while Jensen lay motionless on the ice. After being attended to by trainers, Jensen would be stretched off the ice.
You never want to see a hit like this at all and you would have have to imagine Eyssimont gets a call from the Department of Player Safety in the morning.
This is a cross between a dirty hit and a really bad position to be in by Jensen, either way you would have to imagine a suspension is incoming.
