It seems Toronto Maple Leafs William Nylander has left the game vs the Montreal Canadiens with an apparent injury.

It's game three of the preseason for the Toronto Maple Leafs against the Montréal Canadiens tonight and already there are multiple injury scares. It seems as though William Nylander has left the game with an apparent head.

In the first period, Leafs forward Nicholas Robertson attempted to give Nylander a little bit of a push to try and help him on the back check and he fell awkwardly before aking a leg to the side of the head and going to the dressing room.

It goes without saying that Nylander is an integral part of the Toronto Maple Leafs is a whole after all he is getting paid quite handsomely to provide offense. The pushoff that Robertson attempted to utilize happens more often than not when players are attempting to backcheck in the neutral zone. However, in this case there was no need for Robertson to do that, and instead of helping it knocked Nylander off-balance and into the Montreal defender.

William Nylander, has a history of migraines and head issues that have kept him out of action before. It is one of the reasons he wears a tint advisor when playing hockey now.

All we can do is hope for the best, but not only did it not look great on the initial play the fact that he has not returned to the game would suggest that the injury is a little bit more severe than it looked initially

If Nylander misses any time for the Leafs it would not be good, all we can hope for, is that the injury doesn't turn out to be too severe. If Nick Robertson wanted to be traded, he is certainly helping himself in that regard.
