After a scary scene last night in Edmonton where he narrowly avoided a devastating cut to the ankle, Brad Marchand is back in the thick of the action tonight in Calgary. In his first shift of the game, Marchand was at the centre of a hit and a fight.
While trying to dump the puck in near the Flames' bench, Marchand was drilled by the behemoth Nikita Zadorov.
Moments after, Bruins' teammate Trent Frederic grabbed Zadorov for a fight in retaliation, but was brutalized by the Flames' defenceman. Frederic is a tough customer, but the size and weight difference in this matchup was too much, and Zadorov clearly wins.
The Bruins will look to continue their regular season dominance in a back to back game tonight against the struggling Flames. Already with a record of 46-8-5, Boston has potential to be the best NHL team in history.
