Alex Galchenyuk most certainly has had a year to forget, after bouncing around a bit the last few seasons, he signed a 1 year deal in early July with the Arizona Coyotes, before having his contract terminated after he was arrested on multiple charges just a couple weeks later, but it looks like Galchenyuk has found a new place to play next season.
According to Puck Empire and KHL transfer ru, Galchenyuk has signed a contract to play with Spartak Moscow of the KHL, take a look.
Galchenyuk, 29, played most of last season in the AHL while appearing in just 11 games for the Colorado Avalanche registering no points.
Of course, with how disturbing the situation became in July, I hope that he gets the help the help he needs while continuing his career overseas.
This also is a little surprising considering the statements he made about wanting to participate in the NHL players assistance program, but nonetheless, hopefully he's able to get his life back on track.
