Barclay Goodrow finally answers what he was seen spitting out last week and it's worse than you'd think
Last week in a game against the Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers forward, Barclay Goodrow was struck in the face by a puck off the stick or teammate K'Andre Miller. After being struck in the face Goodrow immediately fell to the ice clutching his face.
Upon standing up it appeared that he had spit something on the ice. There were immediate questions about what this could be.
Goodrow missed the remainder of the game and finally returned to the lineup Sunday night. Today Goodrow was asked about the incident and about what he was seen spitting out. While many expected the answer to be a tooth, Goodrow gave a rather unsettling answer.
«I don't know. A part of my mouth that should still be in my mouth, maybe.»
Goodrow continues to show incredible toughness and leadership for the Rangers who face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight.
