As the first team to qualify for the playoffs with an incredible 50-10-5 record, and being the fastest team to reach 50 wins in NHL history, the hype around this year's Boston Bruins has been clearly reflected in their playoff ticket prices.
On ticketmaster today, an upper bowl ticket was on sale for the price of $1500USD.
It appears that these tickets are verified resale pricing, but even then that is a ridiculous price for a single game. It's likely that a good portion of the tickets are reserved for season tickets holders which is driving up the current price, but the current number would even beat past prices for Leafs' playoff tickets.
With the way the Bruins have been playing, the price for admission may be worth it in the playoffs. The team's automatic winning could lead to something special in the postseason.
Would you be willing to pay this price to watch a playoff game?
