The Boston Bruins love the idea of nostalgia, after Bruins GM Don Sweeney brought back Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci, that one more veteran wouldn't hurt.

The Boston Bruins have reached out to Anton Stralman and offered him a professional tryout, the journeyman defenseman finished 2021-2022 in Arizona, playing 74 games in the desert.

Stralman put up a modest 23-point total in 74 games, with 12 PIM and a -16.

Stralman has played a total of 930 NHL games in 15 years, across six teams, starting his career with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2007, along with the Columbus Blue Jackets, Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Rangers, and Florida Panthers.

Stralman was offered the PTO, with Charlie McAvoy and Matt Grzelcyk out, the Bruins blue-line will need all the help they can get.

This PTO will not count against the cap and if he accepts, Stralman will have to have a good camp to make the team.
