Brad Marchand admits he finally had a 'mental victory' in his rehab from hip surgery
Boston Bruins star winger Brad Marchand took part in his first practice since having hip surgery back in May. That is great news for Marchand and for the organization. Love him or hate him, Brad Marchand is an elite hockey player and Boston can't wait to have him back in the lineup.
Marchand admitted it was a «mental victory» to be back on the ice. The timetable for his return to come back in late November. However, Marchand doesn't want to rush anything and wants to return to the lineup one hundred percent healthy. Hip surgeries can be tricky recover for hockey players. Marchand is hoping the surgery will fix his hip issues and that this will improve his skating and his mobility in the long run.
Having Brad Marchand back in the Boston lineup is critical. He is one of the Boston's elite players. If Boston aspires to make the playoffs and going on a run, they will need a healthy Brad Marchand in the lineup. Last season Marchand had thirty-two goals and forty-eight assists for eighty points in seventy games.
