Tonight, the Boston Bruins are hosting the San Jose Sharks at TD garden, two teams on the opposite end of the spectrum usually means fireworks, for what reason, I'm not too sure.
It didn't take long for the bad blood to escalate in this game as Timo Meier takes Brandon Carlo ounces Carlo when he's down, Carlo takes exception and the two drop the gloves early in the game, take a look:
One has to wonder what Meier was doing acting like that, but good on him for answering the bell.
Carlo is a tough customer, but Meier does a pretty impressive job at holding his own against a bigger opponent.
I have to say though, I'd give the slight edge to Carlo in this one, even though it was a pretty even scrap for the most part and he got taken down he did land the cleaner shots.
Good on Carlo for standing up for himself as well. You can't let an opponent get away with hitting you while you're down on the ice.
